What is LVDS SIGNAL cable 5 pair cable 10 pair cable 12 pair cable

What is LVDS Signal?

Here in this article we will see about what is LVDS SIGNAL? And how its work also here we will see about what is 5 pair and what is 10 pair cable.

The full form of LVDS is ‘Low Voltage Deferential Signal’. LVDS cable is most commonly used in LCD/LED display. LVDS used to transfer very low voltage signal from mother board to T-con (Timing Control) board or Scalar board.

This low voltage signal is 1v to 2.5 v max. This signal contains video data information for pixel. Mainly LVDS cable have three types 20 pins, 30 pins, 60 Pins.

LVDS cable have mainly four color Red Black White and blue. Here Red color is use for panel supply voltage which is also known as PVDD voltage. Black color is used for ground pin. And blue and white color is use for video signal which is itself known as LVDS.

What is 5 pair cable?

  • 0- 0+ (Data for Red)
  • 1- 1+ (Data for Green)
  • 2- 2+ (Data for Blue)
  • clk- clk+ (Clock Pulse)
  • 3- 3+ (Horizontal and vertical sync)

What is 10 pair cable?

  • 0- 0+ (Data for Red) For odd Signal
  • 1- 1+ (Data for Green) For odd Signal
  • 2- 2+ (Data for Blue) For odd Signal
  • clk- clk+ (Clock Pulse) For odd Signal
  • 3- 3+ (Horizontal and vertical sync) For odd Signal
  • 0- 0+ (Data for Red) For even Signal
  • 1- 1+ (Data for Green) For even Signal
  • 2- 2+ (Data for Blue) For even Signal
  • clk- clk+ (Clock Pulse) For even Signal
  • 3- 3+ (Horizontal and vertical sync) For even Signal
